The level of industry knowledge and experience brought to the business is extensive. Tracey began her working career in marketing and publicity with a Brisbane television station and rose to senior publicist before broadening her experience in other states. After leaving the station she moved into other high profile positions with marketing and publicity companies specializing in music and entertainment before establishing her own consultancy.  Tracey has maintained long-standing links with the Australian arts and entertainment industry with producers, directors, artists, and the media..

The Shock Factor is a marketing communication business. The core business is dissemination and amplification of information. Currently the business has a niche market of arts and entertainment businesses whose primary requirement is the publicity and promotion of major theatrical enterprises touring Queensland.  Response time is crucial, this means quick, clear, precise, uncluttered transfer of information, particularly to media sources throughout Queensland.

  • Marketing – strategic advice in developing new markets, market segmentation and positioning
  • Publicity and promotion – writing and dissemination of media releases, alerts and announcements, developing media kits, programmes, and brochures, dissemination of media kits and promotional collateral, running media conferences and media calls, brokering promotions between clients’ products and relevant media and third party sources, artist and media liaison
